By making a test model and test series, the product really comes to life.
THIN-WALLED PACKAGING DESIGN
After the first meeting in which we take stock of your requirements, we form a picture of the final product. By linking creativity and functionality, we can quickly design good thin-walled packaging, thinking not only about a beautiful design, but also about the manufacturability and handling of the packaging until it reaches the end user. SAMPLE THERMOFORMED PACKAGING
After you have approved a 3D image or rendered image on screen, we can make a trial model of the thermoformed packaging. A new product only really ‘comes to life’ when you hold it in your hand and can ‘feel’ it. Our collaboration with dexter MT allows us to create some hand samples. These are then manufactured on our hand forming machine from the actual materials (PS, PET or PP) and correct film thickness. This way, you get a good idea of the packaging and it can be tested with contents, for example.
TEST SERIES OF TRAYS OR BLISTER PACKS
We can go one step further and create a trial mould. This allows us to produce several thousand to tens of thousands of trays or blister packs. (Read more)
THERMOFORMING
Thermoforming is used to produce products from plastic. After heating to the right temperature, plastic film is vacuum formed in or over a mould. We use high-quality plastics such as ABS, Polyethene, Polypropylene and High Impact Polystyrene. Thermoforming is distinguished from other techniques by freedom of shape, low start-up and mould costs and the fact that we can produce small series.
